This statement clarifies the ethical behavior of all parties involved in the act of publishing articles in this journal: the author, the editor-in-chief, the editorial board, the peer reviewers, and the publisher: Pascasarjana Program Studi Manajemen Pendidikan Islam, STAI Darussalam Krempyang Nganjuk, Indonesia. Ethical Guidelines for Journal Publication

The publication of an article in a peer-reviewed journal is an essential building block in the development of a coherent and respected network of knowledge. It is a direct reflection of the quality of work of the authors and the institutions that support them. Peer-reviewed articles support and embody the scientific method. Thus, all parties are expected to adhere to ethical standards.

The publisher takes its responsibilities seriously to ensure that advertising, reprints, or other commercial interests do not impact editorial decisions.

Allegations of Research Misconduct

Research misconduct includes fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, and citation manipulation. When such issues are discovered  either during the review process or post-publication  the editorial board follows COPE guidelines to investigate and resolve the case. If necessary, retractions or corrections will be issued.

All allegations will be initially assessed for validity and potential conflicts of interest. Authors will be invited to respond, and external experts may be consulted. Institutions may also be asked to investigate.

Publication Decisions

The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for deciding which articles are published, based on the paper’s academic merit and alignment with the journal’s scope. The editorial board may assist in this decision-making. Legal and ethical standards will be upheld at all times.

Complaints and Appeals

Complaints related to the editorial process, including citation manipulation, bias, or unethical reviewer behavior, will be handled in accordance with COPE procedures. A fair, transparent mechanism is in place for appeals and re-evaluation of decisions.

Fair Play

Submissions are evaluated based on scholarly content, regardless of the authors’ race, gender, religious beliefs, citizenship, or political views.

Confidentiality

Editors and editorial staff must not disclose any information about a submitted manuscript, except to those directly involved in the publishing process.
