The Tajhizul Janazah training in Mergoyoso Hamlet, Kalianyar Village, Ngronggot District, Nganjuk Regency, is an effort to empower religious communities to understand and implement procedures for handling corpses according to Islamic law. This program aims to equip the community with practical skills in washing, shrouding, praying, and burying the body as part of the fardlu kifayah obligation. Using a community-based approach, the training was implemented in synergy between the community service team, religious leaders, and local community leaders. The training results showed a significant improvement in the participants' abilities, from initially understanding only theory to being able to practice Tajhizul Janazah independently. Furthermore, the training successfully created competent community cadres in carrying out this religious obligation. As a follow-up, a Tajhizul Janazah guidebook is planned to strengthen the program's long-term impact. With this success, the Tajhizul Janazah training is expected to become a model for sustainable faith-based community empowerment.
