Abstract

A marriage is considered valid if it fulfills the pillars and conditions of marriage. The most important thing is the Ijab Qabul between the party holding it and the recipient of the contract. Based on the urgency of knowledge about consent and qabul in marriage contracts according to Islamic law, the Community Service Team (PKM) held an activity program. in the form of socialization of the marriage contract in accordance with Islamic law in the Karang Taruna youth community of Kulaksecang Dusun Jatigreges Pace Nganjuk which can run well. The stages of activities from planning to implementation are carried out according to existing management by using pre-tests and post-tests which are done immediately before the event and after the event in the form of questions that are worked on by the program participants present. The results of the activity show an increase in insight, skills, and satisfying understanding. This was evident from the 33 participants or audiences who took part in the program which initially showed scores below 50 during the pre-test, their scores increased above 60 during the post-test and were able to practice or simulate the acceptance of consent accompanied by presenters. The follow-up approach to the program is also carried out by way of knowledge sharing, namely continuing to share knowledge and insight after empowering and assisting, especially to people who are members of youth organizations.
