Perawatan Jenazah Melalui Pre Teaching Bagi Pengurus dan Santri Tamatan Pondok Pesantren Miftahul Mubtadiin Asrama Putra ar-Ridlo Krempyang Tanjunganom Nganjuk

Abstract

Miftahul Mubtadi'in Islamic Boarding School, ar-Ridlo for boys' dormitory is a place to gain various kinds of knowledge for quality students for the nation's generation. Islamic boarding schools do not only teach theoretical knowledge, but are accompanied by practice as well, so that students can implement all the knowledge gained while at the Islamic boarding school to become a provision for life in society. One of them is knowledge related to the care of corpse which is an obligation for Muslims to Muslim corpses. Based on observations and interviews with the assisted parties and Islamic boarding school administrators regarding the care of corpse, the administrators and graduating students only understand theoretically. As for the caretakers, they want to form a cadre of corpse care which will later become a provision in society. The purpose of this mentoring activity is so that administrators and graduating students do not only understand the concept of corpse care theoretically but also practically. The stages in this mentoring are: social analysis, programming (planning), coordination, implementation of mentoring programs, follow-up plans, and controlling. From the program that has been implemented, it can be seen that the pre-test value data yielded an inadequate score of 65%, the participants only mastered the theory of caring corpses and had not yet come to the process or practice of caring for corpses directly. While the results of the post-test that have been carried out show a value of 85% which can be categorized as participants mastering the theory followed by the practice of caring corpses according to the provisions of Islamic teachings. From the results of the training, the administrators and graduating students made a guidebook on caring for corpses properly starting from washing, shrouding, praying and burying the corpse as a guide for implementing the affairs of caring for corpses in their respective home environments perfectly.
