Abstract

The existence of Islamic boarding schools is expected to be able to transform and become an institution that does not only focus on teaching yellow sciences but also teaches science, technology, and informatics that maintains Islamic values ​​both in the process and content of knowledge so that later it is able to give birth the kyai as well as the sanitist. The process of developing the potential of the santri aims to produce output of students who are not only proficient in the spiritual field but also have provisions in managing the wheels of the economy. The series of educational activities in tertiary institutions, both those under the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education and the Ministry of Religion, basically are not only in the form of activities carried out in the classroom, the scope of educational institutions and laboratory practicums, but are further able to target people's lives in accordance with the scientific fields studied by universities. concerned. These activities are generally in the form of field work practices and real work lectures, where the location, theme, method and length of time for implementation are determined by each university concerned
