Penguatan Ketahanan Keluarga melalui Edukasi Nilai Sakinah di Kalangan Muslimat NU Dsn. Jogolewon Ds. Bagorwetan Kec. Sukomoro Kab. Nganjuk

Abstract

Family resilience is a critical foundation for the establishment of a harmonious, prosperous, and civilized society. However, social dynamics and the complexity of roles within modern families often generate various challenges, particularly in the areas of communication and marital relationships. Recent studies indicate that the inability of families to manage conflict, along with a limited understanding of religious values, significantly contributes to the vulnerability of families in Indonesia. At the same time, the concept of keluarga sakinah in Islamic thought, which is grounded in the principles of sakinah, mawaddah, and rahmah, provides a value-based framework that can strengthen family harmony and resilience. In response to these needs, this community engagement program was conducted in collaboration with the Jam’iyah Muslimat NU of Jogolewon Hamlet, as recommended by the Religious Counselor of the Sukomoro Office of Religious Affairs (KUA), who identified the continuing need for family assistance in improving communication and parenting quality. The program aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the concept of keluarga sakinah, to enhance skills in effective communication and emotional regulation, and to strengthen the role of women as key agents in family development. Through educational and participatory approaches, this initiative contributes to increasing the capacity of women to build harmonious and resilient families. For the community of Jogolewon Hamlet, the program is expected to strengthen family relationships and encourage the creation of a more conducive social environment. For the academic community, this activity enriches the collection of research-based best practices in community service related to family resilience and Islamic values.
