Manajemen Humas: Membangun Partisipasi Masyarakat dalam Penyelenggaraan Pendidikan

The relationship between madrasahs and the community plays a vital role in supporting the success of educational programs. However, recent developments show a growing gap caused by ineffective communication and the suboptimal role of public relations (PR) management within madrasahs. This gap negatively affects the public perception of madrasahs as educational service providers. This article explores PR management as a key strategy to establish a synergistic partnership between madrasahs and the community. The discussion covers fundamental concepts of PR, the role of PR managers, planning, implementation, evaluation stages, and effective communication techniques—written, verbal, and electronic. It also addresses the types of madrasah-community relationships, institutional principles, and the core objectives of community involvement in education. The findings indicate that well-managed PR efforts can enhance public trust, strengthen community participation, and foster an open, collaborative educational environment. Transparent and continuous two-way communication is essential to build a long-term, mutually beneficial relationship aimed at improving the quality of education in madrasahs.
