Motivasi Individual dalam Perspektif Teori Manajemen Pendidikan dan Relevansinya terhadap Peningkatan Etos Kerja Tenaga Pendidik dan Kependidikan

The decline in work enthusiasm among educators and education personnel is a serious challenge in the world of education, especially in achieving optimal service quality. In this context, individual motivation plays an important role in forming a strong and sustainable work ethic. This study aims to examine the relationship between individual motivation and increasing work ethic from the perspective of educational management theory, especially for educators and education personnel in Islamic educational institutions. Using library research methods, this study analyzes various motivation theories such as Maslow, Herzberg, McClelland, and McGregor, and relates them to the functions of educational management, namely planning, organizing, directing, and supervising. The results of the study show that strong motivation—both intrinsic and extrinsic—encourages the birth of a disciplined, responsible, and productive work attitude. From an Islamic perspective, motivation is also based on spiritual values such as sincerity, trustworthiness, and worship orientation, which also strengthen work ethic. Therefore, effective educational management must be able to develop strategies that facilitate increasing individual motivation in order to form superior and integrated human resources.
