Abstract

Islamic education is a major aspect in the formation of a child's character and personality that begins in a family. In this case, the position of Islamic education management plays an important role in creating an environment that supports the spiritual, moral, and intellectual development of a child. This article aims to describe how the implementation of Islamic education management in the family can be applied to achieve its goals. This article is a literature research on the implementation of Islamic education management in the family. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of Islamic education management in the family involves the role of planning, implementation, and evaluation for parents as primary educators. Islamic education planning in the family includes the selection of materials that are in accordance with Islamic values, while the role of implementation in Islamic education prioritizes role models, and the role of evaluation to measure children's progress. So it can be concluded that the importance of the role of parents in managing children's education in an Islamic manner in the family environment can be the main foundation in forming a generation that has noble character and obeys Islamic teachings.
