Abstract

Student discipline, a crucial aspect in achieving effective learning, is the focus of this discussion. Its background is linked to the understanding and objectives of discipline, involving the comprehension of regulations, mindset, and students' character. The research method employed is library research, gathering information from various literature sources covering definitions, goals, strategies, and factors influencing student discipline. The research objectives encompass a profound understanding of the discipline concept, supportive strategies, and the roles of various factors in shaping student attitudes. Research findings depict that student discipline includes aspects of compliance with rules, work effectiveness, and time efficiency. Factors such as role modeling, credibility, the role of the child, punishment, and the environment significantly impact student discipline. Efforts to enhance discipline involve implementing regulations, control, corrective actions, punishment, and guidance by teachers. In conclusion, discipline is not only about restrictions but also about character education and self-control, supporting the achievement of learning goals and the formation of disciplined individuals.
