Abstract

This research delves into the role of self-efficacy and basic leadership training in shaping the character of Scout students at MA Darussalam. Self-efficacy, as a belief in one's abilities, plays a crucial role in developing students' interests, commitments, and resilience. Basic leadership training, especially under the context of the Scout Movement, is the key to shaping characters that are faithful, pious, and have life skills. The training encompasses key aspects of leadership and life skills, positively impacting the attitudes and behaviors of students. The research results illustrate that effective basic leadership training can significantly enhance students' self-efficacy, preparing them as future leaders with a positive attitude and solid leadership skills. With a focus on the Scout Movement, MA Darussalam employs a holistic approach to shape students' characters, providing a strong foundation for personal and social development within the formal and informal education contexts.
