Abstract

Effective supervision is one of the main pillars in efforts to achieve quality education goals and has a positive impact on student development and the progress of education as a whole. Supervision is a series of processes from supervision, monitoring and evaluation of various aspects of educational activities in educational institutions where the main objective of educational supervision is to improve the quality and effectiveness of the learning process and achieve the educational goals that have been set. So, in the supervision process, it should provide a sense of security to both the supervisor and those being supervised and based on the professional relationship between the two parties, besides that in the supervision process the supervisor should be constructive, creative, realistic, and carried out simply in accordance with the abilities, abilities, conditions and attitudes of the supervised party. A supervisor can act as: Researcher, Consultant or adviser, Facilitator, Motivator, and act as a Pioneer assistant. The educational supervision techniques can be carried out by: class visits, individual talks, group discussions, teaching demonstrations, school meetings, workshops, personnel orientation, program orientation, learning facilities orientation, and environmental orientation.
