Abstract

This research aims to delve deeper into student-centered education and the significance of understanding student development significantly. The study focuses on how understanding student developmental characteristics can assist educators in facilitating the learning process and fostering students' potential through education. Each student has unique developmental traits, making attention to student development in teaching crucial. The research method used is library research, where the researcher searches for literature through academic databases, scientific journals, articles, and other reliable sources relevant to student-centered education and student development. The collected data is used to create a comprehensive view of the implementation of student-centered education, aiming to maximize students' learning potential and create effective and engaging learning experiences. Consequently, this research contributes to improving the quality of education and teaching centered on students, providing a better understanding of how education can be tailored to students' developmental needs to achieve optimal learning outcomes.
