Penguatan Keluarga Sakinah melalui Program Edukasi dan Pendampingan Berbasis Partisipasi Masyarakat di Dusun Pengkol Desa Ngrami Kecamatan Sukomoro Kabupaten Nganjuk

Abstract

The seminar "Sakinah Family Education: Building a Great Generation from Home" was held as an effort to strengthen family capacity in facing increasingly complex social challenges and cultural changes. The family is the first educational institution for children, so parents' understanding of the concept of a sakinah family, communication patterns, and Islamic parenting is an urgent need in society. This community service activity aims to increase the insight and skills of the community, especially members of Muslimat NU and Jamaah Yasin Pengkol Hamlet, in building harmonious households based on the values ​​of the Qur'an and hadith. The method used was Participatory Action Research (PAR) and service learning, with stages of needs assessment, program planning, coordination with partners, seminar implementation, and activity evaluation. The core activity was a seminar featuring KH. Abdul Qodim as a resource person and attended by 105 participants. The results of the activity showed an increase in community understanding of the concept of a sakinah family, the role of husband and wife in parenting, and the importance of communication and role models in building children's character. The enthusiasm of the participants was evident from their active participation in the discussion session and their high appreciation of the material presented. Overall, this program contributes to strengthening family capacity and raising public awareness of the importance of building a superior generation through the foundation of an Islamic, harmonious, and loving household.
