Sosialisasi Peran Penting Keluarga Dalam Proses Pendidikan Anak di Dsn. Bulakmiri Ds. Kaloran Kec. Ngronggot Kab. Nganjuk

Abstract

This community service project aims to raise parental awareness, particularly among mothers, about the crucial role of families in supporting children’s educational processes. The activity was conducted in Dusun Bulakmiri, Kaloran Village, Ngronggot District, Nganjuk Regency, using the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach and service learning methods. Through participatory socialization in collaboration with the Muslimat NU organization, participants were guided to understand the family's role in character education, parenting, and effective communication with children. Pre-test and post-test results showed a 35% average increase in participants' understanding. This initiative also encouraged community involvement in building a sustainable, family-based educational ecosystem. The findings suggest that collaborative and contextual approaches can effectively strengthen the family's role as the primary educator in rural communities.
