Pendampingan dan Pembinaan Kemampuan Public Speaking Generasi Muda di Desa Jintel Kecamatan Rejoso Kabupaten Nganjuk

Abstract

Public speaking is an activity program carried out by the community service assistance team in Jintel Village, Rejoso District, Nganjuk Regency. The mentoring activity program involves the young generation of Jintel Village as mentoring partners which include Sunan Giri Mosque Youth, youth organizations, IPNU, and IPPNU. This activity program aims to increase understanding of the young generation of Jintel Village so that they have understanding, knowledge and public speaking skills, so they are able to become a reliable Master of Ceremony both internally and externally. The method used in this activity is Participatory (Participatory Action Research, PAR) with a Resources (Asset-based-Community Development, ABCD) approach. Stages in the activity program include social analysis, program preparation, coordination, implementation, evaluation and funding. The results of this activity showed that the participants were very enthusiastic, through this program the participants felt that they had gained additional knowledge, new experiences and public speaking skills, so that the young generation of Jintel Village was able to become a reliable Master of Ceremony both internally and externally.
