WANITA KARIR PERSPEKTIF GENDER DAN HUKUM ISLAM: STUDI PERSEPSI DOSEN WANITA STAI DARUSSALAM LAMPUNG

Abstract

The phenomenon of many women entering the world of work is a necessity that motivates women's careers. High skills and education are also factors that support women entering the public sector. This research was conducted with the aim of exploring how women carry out two roles at once, namely as housewives and career women, including motivation, supporting factors and the impacts experienced in carrying out dual roles. Apart from that, women are also faced with various consequences and obstacles and how to overcome these obstacles.The cases raised in this research and the subjects were 22 female lecturers at Stai Darussalam who carried out the role of career women, namely as housewives and career women. And these 22 women are able to carry out two roles simultaneously, namely as housewives and career women with great responsibility, without abandoning their obligations as housewives with various tasks of taking care of and organizing all household needs, and remaining responsible and professional as office workers.This type of research is included in a case study using a qualitative approach. The primary source in this research is a female lecturer at Stai Darussalam Lampung. Data collection uses observation methods, documentation methods, while analyzing data uses data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions.The results of this study conclude that women who carry out dual roles in the household and career can do so in a balanced way, as housewives do not forget their obligations to take care of the household and as career women remain responsible in their work.
