This study aims to explain how final-semester university students weigh the choice between completing their final project and marriage, as well as the factors that influence their decision. Through literature study and role conflict theory analysis, this study reveals that university students are faced with dual role conflicts between the need to complete their higher education and the aspiration to build personal relationships through marriage. The results show that university students must find the right balance and manage their resources wisely in order to succeed in both areas. Support from the neighborhood and the ability to communicate openly are also critical. Thus, the decision between focusing on the final project or getting married has significant implications for students' futures and requires careful consideration and finding the right balance to achieve success in both fields. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the existing literature by offering a deeper understanding of the factors that influence final semester students' decisions, as well as providing practical recommendations for students, educational institutions, and communities in helping students make the best decisions for their future.
