Abstract

This article delves deeply into the immensely crucial role of Islamic education as a driving force for transformation amid the challenges and uncertainties of the VUCA era (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity). The focal point revolves around how Islamic education significantly impacts the shaping of character, enhancement of mental resilience, and fortification of individual spirituality. This context aligns with the demands of an increasingly fast-paced and complex era. The research background highlights the urgency of understanding the role of Islamic education in equipping generations with the ability to adapt to change and face uncertainty while reinforcing moral values. Through the method of library research, this study explores recent literature discussing the integration of Islamic education with contemporary concepts within the VUCA framework. The research aims to analyze the concepts and practices of Islamic education that serve as the primary pillars of transformation in the VUCA era. The findings emphasize the importance of a holistic approach, the development of soft skills, and the strengthening of moral values in response to the dynamics of the times. This article is expected to provide valuable insights for the development of a relevant and adaptive Islamic education system in the future.
