Abstract

The Book of Waṣāyā al-Ābā' li al-Abnā' is one of the books describing character
education. Although the book already contains the concept of character education, but due
to its systematic arrangement in accordance with the concept of character education
management that has mostly been used in Indonesia, the book is still disputed by the
general public, especially the public who do not know more about the book, even though
the book is all over the boarding school studied and has applied what is in the book. The
concept of character education in waṣāyā al-Ābā' li al-Abnā' management perspective is
planning, organizing, actuating and controlling with different forms and functions. This
book emphasizes the concept of planning, where in the book of Waṣāyā al-Ābā' li al-Abnā'
emphasizes more on the selection of teachers and friends.
