KONSEP STRATEGI PEMASARAN JASA PENDIDIKAN DI PESANTREN

The increasing level of educational competition and developing educational
technology make every educational institution, including Islamic boarding schools, try
to implement strategies to win educational competitions. Especially in this modern era,
Islamic boarding schools are considered conservative and have low expertise
compared to other modern educational outputs, if Islamic boarding schools cannot
establish the right marketing strategy then the quantity of students will decrease. This
library research describes the Islamic boarding schools’ strategy in marketing
educational services, the constraints experienced and how to solve them. This study
shows that the strategies that can be implemented by Islamic boarding schools in
marketing educational services include 7 aspects. The seven aspects include
curriculum and education services; price is a set costs that can be reached by all levels
of society; place is the location of the Islamic boarding schools that is in an easily
accessible place; promotions can be used by using brochures, holding events, and
participating in competitions; physical evidence that can be established by the process
services in terms of administration in particular and all matters in general are very
good and open; people can be shown that Islamic boarding schools have teachers who
are competent in their fields and most of the alumni of their own Islamic boarding
schools; and complete facilities and infrastructure.
