Abstract

The universality of human rights has become a trending topic
in international arena studies since the ratification of the Universal
Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) by the UN General Assembly in
1948. Human rights protection has become a tool for internationalism to
penetrate the sacred veil of state sovereignty. Differences in views gave
rise to a clash of civilizations between the West and the East. In the West,
The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) was born and in the
East, the IUDHR and the Cairo Declaration on Human Rights in Islam
(CDHRI) were ratified by the OIC. Religion has the potential to be the
most powerful and influential force on earth. On the other hand,
historical facts show that wars, massacres, and crimes against humanity
are more often committed in the name of religion than in the name of
institutions. Calls for interfaith dialogue are seldom voiced in various
parts of the world, instead, they are met with contempt and rejection due
to isolation and lack of understanding of the importance of dialogue. This
article examines the efforts of constructive dialogue and the initiative of
Human Rights Internationalism in Penetrating the Sacred Veil of State
Sovereignty by exploring authentic sources of all religions and
conducting dialogue based on the verse ta'ala ila sentence in sawain
bainana wa bainakum (a common word between us and you). with his
teachings of peace can be realized.
