TINJAUAN PSIKOLOGI KELUARGA DAN SOSIAL MASYARAKAT TERHADAP PRAKTIK PERNIKAHAN DINI DI KECAMATAN NGRONGGOT NGANJUK

Abstract

In marriage law in Indonesia, the importance of age
restriction is to prevent the practice of marriage too young which often
leads to various negative consequences. The problem of marriage age is
one of the important factors in marriage preparation, because a
person's age will be a measure of whether he or she is mature enough
to act and act and requires maturity or maturity of marriage age, both
physical and mental preparation. The researcher feels the need to dig
deeper from the psychological and social point of view of the society on
the phenomenon of early marriage by taking samples in Ngronggot
District, Nganjuk Regency, East Java. The researcher found several
factors causing early marriage in Ngronggot district include factors that
parents avoid promiscuity, their own volition and the last factor is an
accident or pregnancy out of wedlock. As for the psychological and
social point of view, with a low level of education, the quality of the
family resulting from early marriage is also low. This can be seen when
after they live a domestic life that is less in solving problems. This is due
to the immaturity of the psychic and emotional maturity of thought in
dealing with all problems in the household ark.
