PUBLICATION ETHICS

This statement clarifies the ethical behavior of all parties involved in the act of publishing articles in our journal, including authors, editors, peer-reviewers, and publishers.

The Jas Merah Journal: Journal of Law and Ahwal Al-Syakhsiyyah is committed to maintaining high ethical standards in scientific publishing for reviewers, authors, journal editors and publishers.

Editorial Responsibilities

The Jas Merah Journal editor is responsible for deciding which articles are appropriate for publication. The editorial board is supervised by the editorial board. Editors are also limited by applicable laws regarding defamation, copyright infringement and plagiarism.

In the process of reviewing the Jas Merah Journal in making decisions to publish articles, the editorial team adheres firmly to not discriminating against the position, race, gender, religion, ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation and political ideology of the author.

The editor and editorial team do not divulge information about the manuscript or article submitted other than to the author, reviewer, other advisors on the editorial board, or publisher.

Unpublished and submitted manuscripts may not be used by research editors without written permission from the author. Any information obtained from reviewers will not be used for the editor's personal interests.

Editors must be fair and free from considerations of commercial bias when making decisions in accordance with the peer-review process.

Reviewer Responsibilities:

Reviewers assist editors in making editorial decisions on submitted texts or articles.

Reviewers should consider that every manuscript submitted is a confidential document, so they are not permitted to discuss it with other parties unless the editor has permission.

Reviewers are fully responsible for the review recommendations that will be reviewed.

The review of the text is carried out objectively, and is supported by clear arguments.

Reviewers are also responsible for citations, references and plagiarism for the articles reviewed.

Reviewers are committed and work hard to try to improve the quality of the product review process and result.

Reviewers may have specific times for review activities.

Reviewers maintain the confidentiality of information regarding the review process and this information is not for personal interest.

Author Responsibility

  1. The author must provide articles of thought or research clearly, systematically, structured, honest, and free from plagiarism or data manipulation.
  2. The author is responsible for any confirmation caused by the article he wrote.
  3. The author must follow the rules of the publication of scientific papers, namely the originality of works, free plagiarism, and has not been published in the journal or in other publications.
  4. Authors shall submit references of opinions or works of others cited
  5. Authors must write the script or article ethically, honestly and responsibly, in accordance with the rules of writing of applicable scientific papers.
  6. Authors are prohibited from sending or publishing the same article to more than one journal or media publication. Filing the same script on more than one journal or publication media is unethical in the publication of scientific papers and is not justified.
  7. The author is responsible for finding significant errors in his own published manuscript, it is the author's duty to immediately provide information to journal or publisher editors. The author then works with the editor to retract or correct the script.

  Publisher Responsibility

  1. The Jas Merah Journal: Journal of Law is a periodical publication published by Prodi Ahwal al-Assykhsiyyah STAI Darussalam Nganjuk as a publisher of scientific journals responsible for publishing articles that have been through the stage of editing, peer review, and layout in accordance with the rules of publishing Scientific Journal applicable.
  2. The Jas Merah Journal: Journal of the Law is responsible for ensuring academic freedom for editors and reviewers in performing their duties in accordance with their respective fields.
  3. The Jas Merah Journal: Journal Law is responsible for maintaining privacy and protecting intellectual property, copyright, and editorial freedom.
