Abstract

Knowledge sharing is one of the essential elements in knowledge management that plays a strategic role in developing the quality of education. In the context of Islamic education, the practice of knowledge sharing among teachers in madrasahs is not only related to the transfer of pedagogical competence but also the strengthening of spiritual and cultural values. This study aims to analyze the implementation of knowledge sharing among madrasah teachers and its relevance to knowledge management approaches in Islamic education institutions. Using a qualitative descriptive method, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis at a selected madrasah. The results show that knowledge sharing practices occur formally through teacher working group meetings, training, and curriculum discussions, as well as informally through collegial collaboration and social interactions. The main challenges identified are the lack of digital literacy, limited supporting facilities, and differences in individual motivation. However, knowledge sharing contributes significantly to increasing teacher professionalism, strengthening the culture of cooperation, and supporting the vision of quality Islamic education. This research emphasizes that knowledge management, particularly knowledge sharing, can be an innovative strategy to improve the sustainability and competitiveness of Islamic education institutions in the era of digital transformation.
