Abstract

Career development is basically oriented towards the development of the organization/company in responding to future business challenges. Every organization/company must accept the fact that its existence in the future depends on human resources. Without having competitive human resources, an organization/company will experience decline and eventually be eliminated due to the inability to face competitors. Such conditions require organizations/companies to conduct career development for workers, which must be implemented in a planned and sustainable manner. In other words, career development as one of the HR management activities must be implemented in an integrated manner with employee involvement activities in achieving organizational goals. The involvement and development of employee careers in achieving organizational goals is very important. By managing the involvement and careers of employees, all components in the institution or organization will produce better plans and results. In addition, the involvement and development of employee careers accelerates the achievement of organizational goals. However, in reality, many institutions or organizations in achieving a goal do not involve everyone so that the organization's goals are not achieved. To overcome this problem, in the institution or organization there must be courage to involve and develop each person's career by forming a work team in achieving organizational goals.
