KONSEP DASAR FILSAFAT DALAM PENGEMBANGAN KURIKULUM

Abstract

The quality of education can be measured through the curriculum guidelines applied in the teaching and learning process. The curriculum is the basis of education, and in fact its development is an effort to find the right way to plan and organize the objectives, materials, and methods used as a reference in implementing learning activities that are in accordance with the development and needs to achieve certain targets in an institution. Curriculum development aims to achieve universal values, understanding of concepts, issues, and skills that affect the entire education process. Given the importance of the curriculum in the world of education and human life, curriculum development must be done carefully. Curriculum development needs to be driven by a solid foundation, which comes from comprehensive thinking and research. If the curriculum is not based on a strong foundation, it can result in failure in the education system itself.
