Abstract

The concept of understanding learning really needs to be discussed as a provision for educational actors and learning objectives can be achieved well. When talking about the concept of learning, it also contains an understanding of the nature, foundation, elements and results of learning. Therefore, in this paper, this concept is discovered and discussed. Where in essence learning is a continuous effort to gain knowledge so that you can change behavior according to what is needed. Meanwhile, learning is a learning system in which there are several components, namely objectives, educators, students, curriculum, strategies, media, and evaluation. From this understanding, learning has concepts and foundations in the form of philosophy, psychology, sociology and communication, which in learning itself contains several elements, namely preparation, presentation, practice and performance. If you look at the results of learning, you will find changes in knowledge for students. These changes in knowledge consist of cognitive, effective and psychomotor. In order to identify changes in knowledge, indicators of learning outcomes through KKM are needed and the behavior shown is in accordance with educational goals. Even though in the learning process the results of the learning will be known, it is very likely that factors will be found that influence students' learning outcomes. These factors come from internal and external where evaluation is also important. In this case, you can use formative, subsummative and summative tests.
