eligious character education is a crucial foundation in shaping students’ values and behavior from an early age. This community service program was carried out at SDN 1 Trayang with the aim of strengthening students’ religious character through the routine practice of Sholat Dhuha and recitation of Asmaul Husna. These activities serve not only as daily spiritual practices but also as a means to instill values such as discipline, gratitude, and sincerity. The program involved mentoring school staff in planning and implementing structured spiritual routines using participatory and child-friendly methods.
The mentoring process included scheduling regular activities, preparing engaging media, and fostering a reflective atmosphere that supports internalization of religious values. As a result, students showed improved consistency in performing Sholat Dhuha and reciting Asmaul Husna, along with a growing awareness of positive behavior rooted in Islamic teachings. This initiative demonstrates that religious habituation in schools can be an effective strategy for building a strong spiritual foundation and moral character among elementary school students.
