Phubbing, or phone snubbing, is a growing social phenomenon where individuals focus more on their smartphones than on direct interaction with people around them. This behavior has increasingly affected elementary school-aged children due to a lack of awareness and supervision regarding healthy gadget use. This community service program aims to provide mentoring for both parents and children to prevent phubbing through educational and participatory approaches. The methods included educational sessions, interactive discussions, role-playing, and the development of family agreements on smartphone usage. The results showed improved parental understanding of phubbing's negative impacts and increased awareness among children about using smartphones wisely. Furthermore, the program fostered stronger commitment between parents and children to build healthier, more meaningful communication within the family. This initiative is expected to serve as a practical model for phubbing prevention that can be applied in schools and wider communities.
