Pembentukan Karakter Anak Melalui Edukasi Pola Hidup Sehat dan Antisipasi Perilaku Menyimpang di Lingkungan TPQ-Madin Al-Islam Desa Dadapan, Nganjuk

Abstract

Character education in early childhood is a crucial foundation for shaping a child’s personality and moral values. This community service activity was conducted at TPQ-Madin Al-Islam with the aim of building children's character through a seminar on healthy living habits and the prevention of negative behaviors. The seminar was designed with child-friendly and interactive methods, such as storytelling, games, and visual media, to make it easier for children to understand the concepts of healthy behavior and moral values. Topics included personal hygiene, balanced nutrition, and strategies to recognize and avoid inappropriate behavior such as bullying, dishonesty, and excessive gadget use. The program also involved teachers and parents to ensure consistent character development at home and in the learning environment. The results showed increased awareness and understanding among children regarding healthy lifestyle choices and positive behavior. This initiative is expected to serve as a model for early character education that integrates health and moral development in non-formal Islamic educational institutions.
