Non-formal religious education plays a crucial role in shaping the character and morality of the younger generation. This article discusses the mentoring of administrative governance to enhance the quality of non-formal institutions, namely Quranic Education Centers (TPQ) and Islamic Religious Schools (MADIN) in Talun Rejoso Village, Nganjuk. This mentoring is based on the Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach to address administrative constraints that often hinder the potential of religious education. The background of this service reflects the significant potential of children and adolescents in Talun Rejoso Village who have a high interest in religion. However, administrative challenges within TPQ and MADIN hinder their progress. Therefore, we chose these mentoring subjects to assist institution managers in overcoming administrative obstacles. The primary goal is to improve the administrative governance of TPQ and MADIN to become high-quality non-formal institutions, fostering a conducive learning environment and higher-quality religious education. The mentoring method involves problem identification, program planning, training, monitoring, evaluation, and collaborative follow-up activities. The outcomes include improved understanding among administrators, efficient administrative procedures, appropriate curriculum development, and the utilization of information technology. Through the PAR approach, our service partners experienced enhanced performance in managing their institutions. In conclusion, mentoring in administrative governance using the PAR approach can enhance the quality of non-formal institutions and religious education in Talun Rejoso Village.
