Abstract

Abstract

Adolescence is a period when individuals experience various changes very quickly, both physically, emotionally and psychosocially. Teenagers also have a tendency to show independence. In achieving independence and identity, adolescents tend to engage in a lot of risky behavior aimed at trial and error or to meet peer group pressure. Adolescents with an age range of 10 to 21 years are at risk of experiencing various psychosocial problems, one of which is the problem of drug abuse. The level of psychosocial problems of drug addicts with the onset of youth under 18 years is higher than those with onset of drug use over 18 years. One of the protective factors for drug abuse is self-efficacy. Self-efficacy is a concept put forward by Bandura as an individual's belief in his competence in carrying out a task to achieve certain goals. Confidence in the competence that is owned varies greatly and depends on the context. There are several kinds of efficacy expressed by Baron and Byrne, namely academic self-efficacy and social self-efficacy. The concept related to one's belief in one's ability to defend oneself from social influences to abuse drugs was put forward by Ellickson and Hays as resistance self-efficacy. Ellickson and Hays stated that low self-efficacy resistance can directly predict drug use. Furthermore, the concept of resistance self-efficacy was developed by Carpenter to become drug use resistance self-efficacy (DURSE) referring to the concept of Ellickson and Hays. This article is focused on Increasing Drug Use Resistance Self-Efficacy Program for Healthy Without Drugs Through Socialization of Law no. 35 of 2009 concerning narcotics, the role of the BNN (National Narcotics Agency), the role of the community in efforts to prevent and eradicate drug abuse, as well as awards for people who have contributed to eradicating drug abuse in the Mosque Youth Community in Gondang Timur Hamlet, Gondang Village, Pace District.
