Optimalisasi Kinerja Tim Kesehatan dalam Upaya Pemberian Pertolongan Pertama Pada Kecelakaan (P3K) di Pondok Pesantren Putri Miftahul Mubtadiin Ar-Ridlo Krempyang Tanjunganom Nganjuk

Abstract

Islamic boarding school is a collection of students who interact with each other in their daily activities, Islamic boarding school children spend their time at school, studying, reading the Koran, and various other positive activities. In carrying out these activities, sometimes students also do not escape an accident (injury, injured) for example slipping when going up/down stairs or getting injured while running.

Accidents can happen anywhere, therefore a prepared attitude is the basis for everyone to provide first aid to accidents or sick people.

The boarding school health team is one form of community-based health efforts in the Islamic boarding school environment that has the principle of, by and for the residents of the Islamic boarding school, which prioritizes promotive (improvement) and preventive (prevention) services without neglecting the curative (treatment) and rehabilitation (recovery) aspects. health).

Based on the mapping analysis we did at the Miftahul Mubtadiin Ar-Ridlo Islamic Boarding School, we found problems related to the lack of optimal health of the cottage health team in carrying out their duties, they lacked knowledge about how to handle sick children or how to provide first aid in accidents (P3K). correctly according to medical science.

Based on these problems, we organized training for the cottage health team on how to handle sick children or provide first aid in an accident (P3K).

With this training, the health team experienced an increase in their knowledge and abilities regarding procedures for handling sick cfcxfchildren or giving first aid properly. They can also put into practice the theory they have learned during the training.
