Abstract

Talking about quality is always interesting. For more than five decades, quality has been a hot topic in both business and academic circles, in practice and in theoretical discussions. The movement to prioritise quality is no longer limited to the business sector, but has spread to other areas of life, including education and Islamic education. Quality is an abstract qualitative concept that allows for new definitions to emerge in the future. However, there is a common thread that we can draw as a guideline for quality. Quality is largely determined by customers, therefore its existence will continue to change over time, and with unpredictable directions and dimensions. Quality is related to the creation of value for customers. Quality products or services have the characteristic of meeting or even exceeding a series of customer expectations, some of which may be complex concepts that cannot be expressed in words. Quality can only be achieved through the totality of an organisation working together. However, quality can be pursued by paying attention to the parameters it contains. He states that quality is a combination of three parameters: design quality, conformity quality, and utility quality.
