Abstract

This article discusses the understanding of child maltreatment in early childhood within the context of Islamic education management. The background highlights that child maltreatment encompasses physical and psychological violence, which can be perpetrated by parents, family members, society, and even educators. In this study, the method employed is library research, focusing on the understanding, classification, risk factors, consequences, and real-life examples of child maltreatment. The research aims to comprehend these aspects. It is found that child abuse has serious implications on children and can disrupt their physical, emotional, and psychological development. The findings of this research are crucial in raising awareness about the need for adequate protection and education for children to thrive and develop well.
