Abstract

Normatively and sociologically, educational institutions are not profit-making entities. Therefore, financial management and education financing are very important because the institution gives responsibility to the community and students' parents. Library research is the method used in this research. On the other hand, the data collection method comes from notes, journals, books, and other sources; the data itself is in the form of notes or written data, and analysis or research comes from content. The results of this study show that it doesn't matter how much money is spent on education, be it money or real resources used in the process. However, educational success does not depend on cost. As for the types of costs, PP (government regulation) No. 19 of 2007 concerning National Standards (SNP) Article 62 states that the types of education financing consist of operating costs (also known as investment costs, operational costs, and personal costs). Operational costs are covered by assistance from the central government, which is intended to ease the burden on parents with quality 12-year compulsory education. Operating costs should include inherent, functional, and community monitoring costs. Investment costs are costs related to facilities and infrastructure; this is also known as investing in educational institutions to get funds in time.
