Evaluasi Model Brinkerhoff dalam Pendidikan

Abstract

The Brinkerhoff Model, also known as the Success Case Method, is an evaluation method devised by Robert O. Brinkerhoff. The aim of this model is to identify the most successful and least successful examples of a programme, and then to analyse the elements that influence those outcomes. This approach is considered successful as it provides specific, practical information that is directly related to the programme’s impact on participants. In its application, the Brinkerhoff Model offers several advantages. However, it also has its drawbacks. The model has been utilised across various fields. In this context, evaluation using the Brinkerhoff Model makes a significant contribution to the design of better programmes in the future. Its benefits are not limited to programme improvement but also extend to ensuring that the resources utilised yield maximum results. Consequently, this document has been compiled to provide a more detailed explanation of the definition, advantages and disadvantages, application, and benefits of the Brinkerhoff Model in programme evaluation.
