The Khidmah program in Islamic boarding schools is a strategic initiative aimed at nurturing outstanding character among students, emphasizing moral values and ethics. This article employs the Library Research method to analyze the effectiveness of the Khidmah program in achieving its objectives. Data were gathered from various literature sources such as books, scholarly articles, and research reports discussing the concepts and implementations of the Khidmah program. The analysis indicates that the Khidmah program significantly contributes to enhancing students' responsibility, independence, and social empathy. However, challenges such as limited resources and resistance from some students were also identified. Recommendations for further development include implementing a more structured curriculum, enhancing training for caregivers, and strengthening community participation. This study provides profound insights and evidence-based perspectives on the potential and challenges of the Khidmah program, contributing to the advancement of character education in Islamic boarding schools.
