Abstract

The quality of education can be measured from the curriculum guidelines implemented in educational activities. Curriculum is the core of the field of education, in essence curriculum development is an effort to find out how to plan and regulate the objectives, content and learning materials as well as the methods used as guidelines for implementing learning activities that are in accordance with developments and needs to achieve certain goals in an institution. . Curriculum development is directed at achieving general values, concepts, problems and skills that influence all educational activities. Considering the importance of the curriculum in education and human life, curriculum preparation cannot be done haphazardly. Curriculum preparation requires a strong foundation, which is based on the results of in-depth thinking and research. Preparing a curriculum that is not based on a strong foundation can have fatal consequences for the failure of education itself.
