MANAJEMEN PESANTREN DALAM MENGHADAPI PERUBAHAN
Abstract
In the history of pesantren development in our country, it is recognized or not, the existence of pesantren is a symbol of unifying culture of the nation, this is the impact of the occurrence of ideological clash between foreign cultures and local culture.Dilihat from the Islamic education system, both traditionally and modern, the existence of pesantren in Indonesia precisely as one of the assets that can reduce the movement of reform and modernism, so that the Islamic reform movement in our country can not develop rapidly as happened in the Middle East, especially in the region of Turkey and Turkey.Pesantren world always make changes, but not all changes that occur outside accepted, The future of pesantren is determined by the extent to which pesantren formulate itself into a boarding school capable of answering the demands of the future without losing its identity. This accept and refuse selection process follows the prevailing general principles. Because the general principle adopted by the world of pesantrendi Indonesia is the concept of qaidah fiqh which reads: "al-muhafadhah ala al-qadim al-shalih wa al-akhdzu bi al-jadid al-ashlah", preserving the tradition which is still good and also adopting the things new things are much better.In its development Pesantren now can not be separated from managerial activity, this activity is process utilization of human resource or pesantren society, in order to have useful value in organization either formal or non formal. Management is a process or framework, which involves guiding or directing a group of people towards organizational goals or real intentions. Management is an activity, the implementation is managing or managing, while the executor is called manager or manager.No doubt the role of pesantren in the development of the nation's life so far. In other words, pesantren has proven itself not only as an educational institution is also a medium for real creation in the development of a better life. Pesantren is not only a place to seek knowledge, but also a medium for charity, as well as vocational education, as a learning media of pesantren can be said to provide the most complete students (santri), to be ready theoretically and practically at once, ready to face various problem of life and based on the aspect of the religious knowledge it possessed to deal with the change of change.
