RASIONALISASI BANTUAN OPERASIONAL SEKOLAH (BOS) PADA PENDIDIKAN KEAGAMAAN ISLAM FORMAL

Abstract

Government funding for formal Islamic religious education in the form of BOS is increasing. Given the increased funding from government and government policies, communities must still be willing to contribute. Using the normative-prescriptive approach of this study focused on analyzing the preferences of BOS use in formal Islamic religious education in order to be a rational choice in order to meet its financing. From the results of the discussion, the Government is obliged to fulfill the right of formal Islamic religious education as applied to other formal madrasah, at the same time formal Islamic religious education is also obliged to perform its function as religious producer which is vertically responsible to Kemenag, and relate horizontally with the society. Although on the one hand there are BOS (fix cost) funds as minimum and routine funding for formal Islamic religious education needs, but each organizer must remain rational by maintaining public accountability. MBS model is a model that can be selected to further encourage the management of accountable BOS.
