Abstract

The educational curriculum is an important part of the national education system. This has been regulated in several state regulations which are basically public policies. Educational innovation, especially the curriculum, is needed so that it always meets the demands of current developments. It is known that the Islamic education curriculum has been determined and structured as part of the education policy system through various state regulations. This policy was created in response to public interests in the form of a curriculum that is always in line with current developments.The concept of curriculum innovation is described by experts as part of the treasury of educational science. There are various specific methods or processes and decisions regarding curriculum innovation that can be used by innovators to make changes to educational policy (curriculum) to suit the needs of society.
